For a vigorous mental challenge and outdoor physical activity in the woods, paintball is North America’s fastest-growing action game. No experience is needed and all the gear (paint gun, paintballs and protective pullover) is provided. Just bring your sense of adventure.
- A “Hummer” of a Tour
The Hummer H1 can plow along tilted sideways at a 40-degree angle without rolling over, and can climb up and down a hillside with a 60-degree slope. Those go-anywhere capabilities are showcased on a thrilling ride with a professional driver behind the wheel. See more here.

Trained and experienced staff will make sure that your trail ride, pony ride, wagon or carriage ride is both safe and memorable.

Want to explore the area at a gentle pace? Pick up a hiking or biking map and explore the countryside around the resort. Need a bike? Rentals are available.
- Algonquin Park Canoe Adventure
Take a guided canoe tour on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park, made famous by the Group of Seven painters, and known the world over for its scenic wilderness. Half day trips on select days throughout the summer include a guide, transportation and canoe rentals. Available long weekends only, subject to weather conditions.
- Algonquin Park Hiking Trips
Immerse yourself in old growth forest, fascinating wilderness and the history of Algonquin Park on half-day guided hikes on select days throughout the summer. Be sure to bring your camera - both the views and wildlife are abundant. Available long weekends only in the fall, subject to weather conditions.
- Buckwallow Biking Adventures
Take a guided mountain bike tour through the beautiful Buckwallow Cycle Centre. This guided half-day tour will enable riders of all levels to enjoy an incredible time on 20km of trails. Includes guide, bicycle rental and transportation to park. Available long weekends only in the fall, subject to weather conditions.
- Algonquin Park Photography Tours
Make the most of the exceptional wildlife and landscape photo opportunities afforded by Algonquin Park with a guided expedition into the Park led by nature photographer Michael Bertelsen. With helpful tips and techniques on how to best capture a beautiful image on film, you are sure to take home some great shots.
