Deerhurst plays host to some exciting golf tournaments this summer. Highlights include the Good as Gold Golf Open, June 20 - 22 to help raise funds for the Canadian National Women's Hockey Team, and the Deerhurst Pro-Am, June 25 in support of Kids.Now.

Spring Zinger 2 Paintball Tournament

Saturday May 31

Get out for the season's first games at the Deerhurst Paintball field with woods and speedball type matches. Sign in is at 10am, with games starting at 11am. All teams are guaranteed 4 games.

Teams of four/$25 per player. $25/ per 500 round bag.

FAMILY WAKEBOARDING WEEKEND

July 5-6, 2008

Great boats and hot stunts are more reasons to head for our beach July 5th when Deerhurst once again hosts the Algonquin Outfitters AmAssault family wakeboarding weekend.  Kids are welcome to participate or just watch some of Ontario’s top amateur wakeboarders as they “butter slide” and “9-1-1.”   It’s also a great chance to check out the latest Nautique craft, enjoy some BBQ and visit supplier tents for new summer gear.  Sunday will also feature an exclusive chance to ride and learn with the pros.   Register to compete at xcup.ca For overnight rate specials call 1-800-461-4393

Buzz for the Muskoka Ironman 70.3 is building. This qualifying event for the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3, is slated to attract over 1,500 international athletes.

Urban Scenes – May-June

This May and June, the Eclipse Gallery explores the effect that surroundings have on an artist with new works by two well-known Muskoka painters, Ellen Cowie and Jenny Gordon. Both recently spent time in Toronto with interesting results. See Ellen's series of painting depicting desolate road scenes of the city on rainy nights, and Jenny Gordon's remarkable series of Toronto landmarks such as Kensington Market.
