Golf Academy & clinics

Deerhurst’s Golf Academy specializes in programs that are custom-designed to truly improve your game.  Our teaching, led by academy director Dave Castellan, one of Canada’s Top 50 golf instructors, combines hands-on time and practical tips with video analysis and CD manuals that explain the game’s principles, helping you to develop a plan, and become a better golfer while enjoying a great Ontario golf resort.

Tuesday Junior Clinic Series

Get into the game with these youth intro sessions

Kids bored by summer re-runs or wondering what it's like our there on the golf course? Deerhurst's Tuesday night clinics are the perfect way to find out what golf is about. In five, once-a-week evenings, our pros will take them right through from basic rules and safety to putting, swing, and a fun final evening on the golf course.

Dates: July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 (rain date of August 5).

Times: Ages 5 to 9 from 6-7pm; Ages 10 to 16 from 7:15-8:15pm.

Fee: $80 per child + tax.

Junior Golf Camp

Give your kids age 7 to 12 a great beginning in the game of golf. 

Deerhurst’s five-day summer camps cover all the fundamentals in a fun, attention-grabbing format, developing a skill set that boosts confidence and builds consistency. Your children will get outside, learn a new sport and have a ball.

EARLY REGISTRATION SPECIAL Sign up by June 15 and save $50, a unique week of kids’ camp for only $199.

Private Instruction

Private lessons from Deerhurst’s trained, CPGA certified staff are available for individuals, or two or more people.  All private lessons are customized and can include full swing, short game, club fitting and on-course instruction.
