Maple gold rush
Every Spring Deerhurst produces its own maple syrup from the sap collected from 2,000 taps placed in the maple forests above Steamers.
Maple Sugar Bush Tours
March 7-16, March 22-24, March 29-30
One hour tours depart every 30 minutes: 9am to 11:30am, and 1pm to 4pm
Climb aboard our wagon and head to the maple sugar bush where we'll demonstrate both the old-fashioned and modern methods of syrup making. Sample hot maple apple cider, maple taffy on ice and maple treats from our pastry shop. $20/adult, $15/child 12 years & under, free/child 2 years & under. includes 10% off Steamers all-you-can-eat Sugar Shack Buffet.
Steamers Maple Buffet
March 8 - 16 from 11am -2pm
Tuck into a traditional Quebeçois-inspired feast served in the rustic log house setting of Steamers. Choose from (or try them all): maple syrup muffins, French Canadian pea soup, pancakes, roast maple glazed chicken, veal & pork tourtière tartlets, sugar pie, maple crème caramel, white chocolate maple mousse and Muskoka Roastery maple coffee.
