We want your time at the Spa at Deerhurst to be an outstanding experience. If you are a new spa-goer, please feel free to talk to any member of our Spa staff. We’ve also included our best advice on how to fully enjoy your time with us, right here.
ENJOYING YOUR TREATMENT
Checking In
We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes before your appointment to complete any information and ensure a leisurely introduction to the Spa, plus the opportunity to enjoy our eucalyptus steam room and complimentary tea or fruit water. Should you arrive late, in consideration of the next guest, your treatment may still end as scheduled.
Getting Comfortable
Spa robes, slippers and towels are provided, and our change room includes a selection of essential toiletries. Guests are invited to bring their own hairbrush, cosmetics and other supplies. Please note that secured lockers are reserved for guests having services other than manicures, pedicures and salon bookings.
What to Wear
If you are having a face or body treatment, it is your choice to disrobe entirely, or to wear your undergarments. Our staff is trained in draping to ensure your privacy at all times.
Peace and Quiet
To help us maintain a tranquil, relaxing environment we ask that you switch off your cell phone or any other mobile devices when entering the Spa. Out of respect to other guests, please remember to speak softly.
Need a Change
If you have a question during treatment or need your service provider to adjust something, please speak up. Or if you are looking for rest and don’t wish to hold a conversation during treatment that’s fine too. We’re listening and will take our cues from you.
Best Face Forward
Speak with your service provider or the concierge if you wish to have a complimentary make-up colour match before leaving. Full make-up application or lessons are offered by appointment.
MAKING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Booking Ahead
Due to the popularity of Spa services, we strongly recommend that you make advance reservations before arriving at the resort. Day of and walk-in appointments can certainly be made, if availability permits.
Securing Services
All Spa reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card, gift certificate or Deerhurst Resort reservation number.
Age Limit
While we look forward to introducing youths to the spa experience, we are unable to accommodate any guests under age 16.
Late Arrivals
To avoid disappointment, please remember that if you arrive late your appointment will be shortened accordingly. If offering the full service does not inconvenience other guests then we will do so happily. However, in some cases it may not be possible to shorten the requested service, which will be cancelled with the total service fee charged.
To Cancel or Reschedule
If you must cancel or re-book your appointment do contact the spa. For single service reservations, we request 24 hours notice prior to your appointment time. For multiple service or spa package reservations, please contact us 48 hours before. Appointments rescheduled without sufficient notice will be charged 50% of the treatment price. For cancellations without sufficient notice and non-arrivals, the full fee will be applied.
